As a celebration of Correlacion Contemporanea 4th anniversary, the work team organized a series of interviews with artists, teachers and managers who have participated in our programs. Those interviews were live through the social media INSTAGRAM and were based on experiences as a program or residency participant.

Participants
David Pimentel (Exchange of residences)
Graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru with an engraving degree, with studies at the University of Barcelona. His work explores the possibilities of the virtual image and the adaptation of visual consumption in contemporary society. In 2019, he founded Estampida Workshop, a space where he displays his work as a graphic editor and becomes a permanent resident in the art space. Also, Estampida receives people interested in developing graphics. He currently works as an editor and visual arts teacher, illustrator and musician.See IGTV video interview
Giancarlo Melgar (Experiences, Truth and Art)
Bachelor of Painting from the School of Fine Arts and degree in Graphic Design from the SISE institute. In 2016, he participated in "Experience, Truth and Art" a series of talks organized by Correlación Contemporánea within ENSABAP and CEPRE-ENSABAP, presenting the project "Strategies for (in) visibility I and II". As part of their interests in mediation and cultural management, Giancarlo Melgar together with Rocío Dávila created Nexo - Interdisciplinary Laboratory, an exhibition space for young and established artists, taking as an essential the interaction with the public through conversation and dialogues. Nexo has shown works of more than 12 artists from different peruvian art schools.He also is involved in music, with a career of approximately 15 years in different music bands, performing concerts and record productions with national and international producers.

Josy Odet (Collaborator)
Bachelor in Painting from the School of Fine Arts.She has participated in the 20th PUCP Film Festival, itinerary exhibition Videoarte / Experimental at ESPACIO ENTER International Festival of Creativity, Innovation and Digital Culture 9th edition - Spain. She has been an illustration collaborator in Rutas del Aprendizaje book of the Peruvian Education Ministry, also, she has been Animation and Stop motion teacher at Lucila Walqui Gallery. She has participated as teacher and exhibitor in the Art Education Congress of Peru and Latin America 2019. Currently, she is working as a teacher at ENSABAP and CEPREBA.See IGTV video interview
Mara Palacin (Thinking our consequences)
Mara is currently studying Conservation and Restoration at the National School of Fine Arts. Her work is related to the spaces that his family inhabit (Cerro de Pasco and Tacora, La Victoria). Moments that carry multicultural stories to her photo proposals based on objects or family anecdotes, migration and constant struggle. In 2018, she presented "Tacora: waste as resistance to survive" at Centro Cultural de Bellas Artes, a documentary and installation project that shows the daily life of people who find in the garbage of Lima a vital sustenance and a space to inhabit. In addition, she has participated in collective projects such as “Concrete Organisms” in the Victor Humareda Gallery (2018) and her work has been published in print media such as El Comercio and Diario Uno.See IGTV video interview
Romina Estecher (Residence Iwati Parana)
With a brief passage through the Bachelor of Arts, she continues her training through public and open calls that allow her to carry out clinics, workshops and artist residencies such as: Uberbau_house Residence [Contemporary Art Research] São Paulo, Brazil (2018). IWATI PARANA Residence Iquitos, Peru, exchange Residences with Arte Panal 361 and Correlación Contemporánea (2017). International Residency for Production and Research in Contemporary Art and Social Processes PUBLIC WORK, Cooperativa de Arte Y Curatoria Forense Latinoamericana. Sandra Flores (Residence Iwati Parana)
Art-Educator. Currently in the senior year of the Art Education degree at the National School of Fine Arts of Peru. In 2017, Sandra participated in the art residency program "Iwati Parana / Sobre el río" with the project "CONVERSACIONES, Lima - Iquitos". She proposed to explore the identity and affective characteristics of a group of children made up of students from Lima and Kukama village, Iquitos. In this collaborative action, Sandra rethinks the postal exchange as an opportunity to confront different individual and collective idiosyncrasies from geographically opposite contexts.See IGTV video interview
