THINKING OUR CONSEQUENCES
RESEARCH IN CONTEMPORARY ART FROM HOME
These conversations have generated a series of visual elements that allow us to socialize our reflections around horizontality, public space and the personal - collective archive.
What is elaborated in this volume of THINK OUR CONSEQUENCES is a space to dialogue and encourage the collective creation that questions the standards of exhibition, commercialization and dissemination of art in our context.
PARTICIPANTS
Andrea López
Visual artist who flows between the planes of fantasy and reality. She is currently studying the specialty of Sculpture at PUCP. She found in art and performativity a place to express the multiplicity of identities. Her work is a body introspection and possibilities. Fantasy, understood as something close to the dream, the impossible and the yearnings of being, are an important part of her work because they function as an axiomatic axis to investigate reality.
María Jesús Jiménez
Multidisciplinary visual artist. She studied at Corriente Alterna School of Visual Arts in Lima, Peru. Her work has as a basic principle reflecting on the relationship between personal experiences and the social context, and includes a constant exploration of media. The topics are identity, social and cultural processes and the relationship of people with technology, specifically the internet.
Micaela Valdivia
Creator, activist and feminist. Woman and student of the Professional Photography Career at the Image Center and the School of Political Science of the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University. In metamorphosis and constant movement in the face of struggles, creation and the community. Considered a woman and a girl. Crazy, witch and feminist; innocent, romantic and lost. Works in photography, writing and other disciplines of art. Develops themes of gender, culture, violence, territory and nature. Explores abstraction, the conceptual, the archive, and analog and digital processes.
Silvana Rosan

She is currently developing the thesis - where she seeks in various media - to achieve a portrait of the Cuzco peasants before the agrarian reform. CONCLUSIONS
This program continues THINKING OUR CONSEQUENCES as autonomous management. This self-questioning is developed in conjunction with the participating artists through a horizontal dialogue. Therefore, for us it is important to thank Andrea, María Jesús, Micaela and Silvana for building together with us a methodology for the collective creation of initiatives - not so utopian - to diversify the local scene.
To conclude, we consider that this volume, and the artists that make it up, have proposed work outlines, roadmaps, and left questions that lead us to new initiatives that will allow us to expand our collaborative work network. As well as, expand our constant research and work around self-management, associativity and collective strategies that allow us to stimulate and face collaborative work from a sustainable perspective.
